CONNECTING THE DOTS FORWARD

Hey guys.

Happy weekend and I'm back with a weekend spice

As titled above, I'll be talking about Connecting the dots forward

Connecting the dots forward simply has to do with Deciding

Deciding does not only involve the reasoned act, but also the emotional world.

To decide is to kill moments to create moments. It is a sort of spiral growth and evolution.
All creators of the world have something in common; they decide, cut, impose, mark the route, outline, draw the map, undo the knots, accommodate their understanding of time.

With their decisions, they assume that art of creation is also art of spinning, separating and sieving. The true creators, those who make the world really move, kill what needs to be offered and bring vitality to what needs to be visible.

To decide is to separate and cut. A constant stop and play to the soundtrack of the days.

The act of deciding is related to Steve Jobs point theory: 'You cannot connect the dots looking forward; you can only do it looking backwards'. So you have to trust that the dots will connect in some way in the future.

You have to trust something, your instinct, destiny, lige, karma or whatever. Because believing that the dots will connect later on the road will give you the confidence to follow your hearts even when it leads you off the beaten path and that will make all the difference.

Deciding involves connecting those dots and to a large extent connecting to the points of others. The decision maker chooses which point he/she follows within a long series of variable points.

So the gray (indecisive) characters do not usually make decisions or take risks. They prefer to stay in their pond, where fear paralyzes them and the future hangs like a shadow. That is why making decision turns out to be such a complex process for human that sometimes even the most experienced paralyzes.

Hence, connecting dots is a game of life and death.
Jonah Lehrer, a journalist specializing in Psychology and Neuroscience has extensively investigated the decision-making process and uses an interesting conclusion:

'Deciding involves not only the reasoned act but also emotional world. Connecting the dots involves opening your eyes to know which path is the right one, be it a visible and known route or totally invisible one.'

Before you can achieve a goal or pursue your dream, you have to decide; make a decision as to do whatever needs to be done to make it reality.
